Belhus batted first and Bateman top-scored with 31 to take us to 107 all out from 43 overs - often a winning total in those days!

And so it proved as North Stifford had no answer to our opening bowler, Don Pegler, who bowled magnificently to collect 7 for 32 to enable us to win by 18 runs. A good, close match though.
