Belhus Cricket Club Lost by 5 Wickets

Match report Openers Jim Banner (34) and Amit Gohil (48) stroked a fine 90-runs partnership but the remaining Belhus Gentlemen batsmen were unable to maintain the momentum. It was thanks to our second-highest scorer, Mr. Extras, that we were able to post a total of 191.

The Rainham batsmen had little difficulty in chasing down the runs for the loss of just 5 wickets - the Belhus bowlers clearly weary after their hectic summer match schedule. The highlight of the afternoon was the excellent tea produced by Sue Waters with strawberries, melon, grapes and a good quantity of cakes to satisfy the appetites of the Belhus Gentlemen.
