Another key record was broken on Saturday as the Belhus fifth eleven amassed their highest ever total. Opening batsman John Wilson scored exactly 50, while later in the innings, Don East matched Wilson's score and was undefeated in the process. Despite the best efforts of Rotajin with 46, Rayleigh succumbed to Jordan Sullivan and Amit Gohil, who grabbed three wickets each. Ewan Day picked up two wickets at a cost of just four runs, while Ryan Prendergast and Steve Playle collected the two remaining scalps.
