Batting first, Woodford Green posted a competitive total of 251 as Sam Hall, Roy Heffernan and Imran Mohammed took 2 wickets apiece.

Such a total was not a fright to the strong batting line-up of our 2nd XI but, alas, with the exception of man-in-form Roy Heffernan, our early-order batsman didn't play to their potential as we found ourselves perched precariously on 133 for 6. And it took youngsters Dan Dreher and Sam Hall to come to the rescue by producing a fantastic 8th wicket partnership of 124 that enabled us to reach the target with Dan stroking a magnificent 6 to win the match in style.

This was one of the season's finest victories and the 9th highest run chase in Belhus' history. It also saw the 2nd XI climb to 2nd place in their SNEL Division as well as provide a memorable 16th birthday for Sam Hall.
