Imran Mohammed was on fire with the ball on Saturday as he picked up six Harlow Town wickets. But his efforts were completely doused when the Heavens opened and no further play was possible after just two overs into the Belhus reply. Mohammed finished with 6-73 from 17.5 overs, four of which were maidens. The dismissal of the visitors to Ockendon Recreation Ground was complete when Keith Dhannie picked up four wickets at a cost of 34 runs from eleven overs which included five maidens. The Newtowners had three batsmen in double figures. Openers Darryl Pettengell and Jason Gladwin put on 86 for the first wicket until Dhannie had the former caught for 67 in a knock which included ten fours and two towering sixes, while the latter was one of five leg before victims when trapped for 23. Bilal Ali, the number four batsman, hit 25.
