There were two centurians - one on each team - but it was the Old Boys who came away from North Stifford with the spoils. Joe Joyce of Belhus hit his fourth century of the season in making 112 not out from 125 balls faced, his knock included 15 boundaries.

But in the post tea session, Joe Robbins led his team to a fine win with 113 not out, having put on 188 for the first wicket with Numan Khan It was Khan who was the only Southendians batsman to be dismissed, bowled by Dale Kenyon.
