Belhus Ladies Cricket Club completed their season by taking on the juniors from their own club in this eight-a-side pairs match at North Stifford on Sunday morning. The Ladies, who won the toss and elected to field, displayed a greater degree of accuracy in their bowling than had been evident in the previous outing, with Tracey Fairweather (0-23) and Sarah Marbe (0-14) not conceding any wides in their respective overs. However, the Belhus Juniors were on top form with the bat. Billy Maidment top scored with a fine 36 not out, while the final pairing, of Mark Fogg and Joshua Reynolds, produced undefeated innings scores of 25 and 28 respectively. Lynne Bonner excelled as wicketkeeper, leaking only five byes and was quick to react to achieve a run out of Tyler Kohl, who scored 21 (16 net).

The Ladies' batting was more confident if unspectacular in worsening weather conditions, though Jackie Norris produced several text book cover drives on her way to ten runs. Marbe, Fairweather, with Janet and Rhiannan Jefferies were the four undefeated batsmen, while the pairing of Bonner and Norris produced the most runs. For the juniors, Joseph Clarke was the pick of the attack with 2-9 from just two overs, while Harry Pacey and Fogg picked up one wicket each.
