James Clifford and Bradley Green of Chelmsford aborted the longevity of the Belhus U15 Peters Cup run, as, like their U16 counterparts, the Belhus cup run disintegrated at the quarter-final stage. Clifford was undefeated on 51 while Green ensured the home side saw red with a steady knock of 48 runs, which only came to a halt off the final ball of the Chelmsford innings, being caught by Mathew Lewis just inside the boundary at deep mid-on off the bowling of Jack Martin-Hussey (2-24). Cameron Waller also picked up two wickets for Belhus, but at a cost of 42 runs from four overs. After the break, Sam Hall top scored for Belhus with 22, but there was limited support despite the best efforts of Jake Wolfe, 13, and Waller, with 12 runs, who was unlucky to be run out after losing his footing in mid-pitch. Ben Clifford picked up the bowling honours for Chelmsford with 3-13 from four overs, while Tom Arnold returned 2-3 from three overs, two of which were maidens.
