Tyler Crosbie opened the bowling for Belhus at Blackshots on Sunday morning and promptly pegged back the home batting with a wicket maiden in this pairs format fixture. Crosbie finished with figures of 1-10 from three overs and the wicket maiden opening feat was repeated by fourth change bowler Billy Manley, 1-3 from two overs. Pick of the Belhus attack was George Benson with 2-6 from three overs (one maiden), while Hayden Squelch, Henry Benson and Hassan Mirza joined Crosbie and Manley by taking one wicket.

After the break, twins Henry and George Benson featured in an undefeated partnership of 23 for the first pairing, with Henry scoring ten not out and George three not out. For Thurrock, Daniel Tagg and Calum both picked up one wicket at a cost of just eight runs from three and two overs respectively.
