Match report An accurate opening attack from the visitors and a slow outfield kept the run rate low. Under 15 Toby Reynolds held the innings together batting for 30 overs for 18, a flourish at the end so Belhus to 131 for 8 including a gigantic 6 from John Gray on the last ball of the innings.

After Tea Old Brentwoods were quickly reduced to 11 for 3 with Senior Cricket debutant Joseph Clark taking 2 wickets one with his 3rd ball. This however brought together Bourne (45 not out) and skipper Parish (26)to the crease. On the constant and reliable condition of the artificial strip, they were able to counter attack and despite a good few near misses took the visitors to within touching distance of victory. Sapwell (20 not out) completed the task.
