The Belhus bowlers took full advantage of damp conditions at North Stifford on Saturday. Dale Kenyon led the way with an impressive 5-58 from 24 overs, four of which were maidens.
Danier Dreher picked up 2-13 from seven overs (one maiden), and Imran Mohammed claimed 2-6 from three overs, also with one maiden. Richard Waters continued the pressure on the visiting batsmen with three maidens in a nine over spell which yielded 1-22. The catalyst for the unrelenting bowling onslaught came from Jack Martin-Hussey, whose opening spell of six overs cost just seven runs which included two maidens. Westcliff's contributions in the adverse conditions included Sinclair with 39 runs and Curtis, who made 25. After the break, Michael Cansdale top scored for the home side with 28, while Lee Webber contributed 20 and opener Mark Sansom hit 14. For the visitors, Locke claimed 3-13 from seven overs (one maiden) while Rafiq and Randon picked up 2-45 and 2-11 respectively
