Any fears that the home side had set an unassailable total were quickly brushed aside by the Belhus batsmen who made light work of the run-chase on Sunday. In fact the target was reached inside 30 overs as Ryan Wells rounded off a fine weekend by hitting a magnificent 103 from just 75 balls, to follow his 76 made in the second eleven league match the previous day. Michael Cansdale and Michael Fogg also contributed to the fine win with scores of 63 and 52 not out respectively. Earlier, Ian Joyce was the pick of the Belhus bowling attack with 4-37 from eight overs.
