Rainham v Belhus Cricket Club Gentlemen's XI on Sun 10 Jun 2012 at 1.30pm
Belhus Cricket Club Won by 10 Runs
Match report
A good game played in good spirit. Hall, Wilson, Gohil, Plane and Ranson got Belhus of to a great start at 46-6. Belhus pulled it around thanks to Edwards 52 no and Mendham 54no and a quick-fire 17 from Stonham.
Rainham made a fair start thanks to Adkins 51 and Gibbs 64no saw Rainham up to 89-3 at the half-way stage with the game in the balance. Michael Cansdale and Amit Gohil bowled well, but a poor spell from Wilson let Rainham back in. A dropped catch from Lee Ranson with 4 overs remaining, left Rainham needing 32 off the last 4 overs with Gibbs still at the crease. On came on skipper Waters to settle things down taking 2 wickets in his first over to see Belhus home to a 10 runs victory.
We apologise for an incomplete scorecard.
