Match report Belhus bridged the age gap to win this Sunday friendly against Old Dartfordians. Belhus skipper for the day Peter Clark won the toss and together with his fellow 40 plus opener Richard Waters set about posting a first wicket partnership of 185. Waters retired out on 101 in a superb innings sprinkled with boundaries (15 x 4's and 2 x 6's). Clark succumbed caught behind for 73 and hit 10 x 4's bringing his 50 up with a towering straight 6. Scott Stonham added 25 as Belhus closed on 230 for 2.

The Belhus battery of young bowling talent then set about Dartfordians with vigour and never let them get into any sort of position to challenge the Belhus score. Whilst Vousden hit an accomplished 58 he was removed by Greg Mendham and chief spoiler 14 year old Joshua Reynolds with 4 for 23 from 7 overs was abley supported by Iniyan Anbalakan with 1 for 18 and Sam Hall 1 for 30 (Hall also took 3 catches in the field)to put the squeeze on the opposition. Jake Wolfe mopped up at the end with 2 for 12 as Dartfordians closed on 146 for 9 clinching a Belhus win by 84 runs.
