Match report The first game for two years for the 5th XI saw them travel to Purleigh CC for a friendly fixture against Ralyleigh 5ths.

Asked to bat the homeside initially struggled against the Visitors Under 15's openning attack of Jack Martin Hussey (3 for 13)and Elliot Playle (2 for 17) Keely (47)took some control and aloing with James (24) kept the scoreboard moving, further Under 15s Jake Wolfe (1 for 28) and Mason Ruck (2 for 31) restricted the Rayleigh innings to 158 for 9 after 40 Overs.

Despite a slow reply at 94 for 2 the game looked to be within reach, however when Openner Don East (49) and John Wilson (44) fell in quick succession, only jake Wolfe (11) and Jack Martin-Hussey (16) reached double fugures and belhus fell 9 runs short.
