Belhus Cricket Club Saturday 5th XI v Old Brentwoods 3rd XI on Sat 09 Jul 2011 at 1pm
Belhus Cricket Club Won by 7 Wickets
Match report
After loosing the toss and being asked to bat, the visitors were soon in trouble, with 14 year old Sam Hall ripping through the order with figures of 4 for 10 off 6 overs, all victims bowled. The first change saw Alfie Rowley pick up the mantle with 4 for 19 of just four overs again all bowled. Only Gabriel with a quick fire 23 at the end of the innings showed any resistance as Old Brentwoods inning closed after 20 overs with the score on 74.
The Belhus response was steady with Veteran Don East (33) guiding the home side youngsters through to a 7 wicket victory after 26 overs with Ryan Prendergast 17 not out at the close.
Our apologies for an incomplete scorecard.
