Match report Winning the toss and electing to bat, the Horndon Innings was dominated by young Tyler Moore. Coming in at 3 in the 2nd over, Moore batted for 35 overs and a score of 72. The only support coming from A Clark (27). Once Moore departed, the Belhus bowlers quickly took the remaining wickets with 2 a piece for Lee Hawkes and Under 15 pair Elliott Playle and Mason Ruck. Skipper Barry Ruck also taking 3 wickets. The home side completing their innings at 157 all out after 41.1 overs.

Belhus commenced their reply cautiously and at drinks were 57 for 3, however the loss of two quick wickets, and now at 58 for 3 requiring a further 100 to win, the prospects looked bleak. However a partnership of 54 between Lee Hawkes (20) and Barry Ruck (42) gave the visitors a chance. Unfortunately for Belhus, time ran out and they finished 8 runs short of the target at 150 for 8
