Belhus made very light work of their Shepherd Neame Essex League division three home fixture with Ongar on Saturday, they dismissed Ongar for just 41 runs after 23 overs. Promotion-chasing Belhus were able to knock the 42 runs required for victory from just 6.1 overs. Meanwhile, Ongar second eleven failed to fulfill their fixture against Belhus twos.

The Essex League have accepted Ongar's resignation from the league with effect from the 2012 season and due to the continued failure of their 2nd XI to take to the field, their playing record has now been expunged from the second string table.
