It was the Belhus youngsters who were responsible for this victory over the league leaders, Benfleet. Danny Joyce was Belhus top-scorer with a commanding 96 not out, while his 16 years old brother Joe continued his outstanding form this season in notching up 67, M.Guilbert 49 and a quick fire 30 from M.Fogg took us to 301 for 7 in our 50 overs.
In chasing a formidable score, Benfleet never really got in the hunt after 16 years old Connor Day took 4 for 43 and 1st XI debutant leg-spinner, 15 years old Owen Jefferies, captured 3 for 34 as Benfleet were dismissed for just 150, as Belhus won by a huge 151 Run margin.
