Owen Jefferies achieved his maiden half-century for Belhus in this mid-week social fixture at North Stifford on Wednesday afternoon. He hit seven boundaries in a 'career' best knock of 63. He was supported by Michael Fogg with 31, while Daniel Dreher and Jim Banner hit 19 and 12 runs respectively. For the Kent visitors, Burgess, Whitton, Cox and Mabgood took two wickets each. In the Locksbottom reply, Lomax struck ten fours in a knock which equalled the score of young Jefferies, but the rest of the visitors' batting did not function as well as it might have done.

Dreher completed a fine all-round game by claiming 3-13 from seven overs (one maiden) while Danny Norris weighed in with 3-28. Fogg had an away-day from the wicketkeeping gloves to take one wicket at a cost of 23 runs from seven overs (one maiden), while Peter Clark and Richard 'Tricky' Waters picked up one wicket each.
