Billy Winter struck a magnificent 94 for Belhus which provided the launch pad for a comfortable victory over Goresbrook. Winter chilled the visiting attack as his 94 runs came from exactly 100 balls faced and hitting eleven boundaries in the process. Then Stephen Huckstepp played an excellent cameo innings of 40 not out which included two sixes and four fours. Further support was given by the in-form Brian Edwards with 37, while opener Connor Elliot contributed 19 runs.

For Goresbrook, Wilkinson top scored with 45, Martin Rooke senior hit 34, while Baun and Alfred both finished undefeated on 30 and 26 respectively. Keeping the lid on the Goresbrook reply were Joe Joyce, 2-21 from seven overs and Richard Waters, 2-13 from five overs, while earlier in the afternoon, Goresbrook's Lowe proved to be the best rewarded bowler with 2-24 from eight overs.
