Belhus U13Bs came within a whisker of recording their first victory of the season at Horndon Recreation Ground on Monday evening. Improvements in individual skill is becoming more apparent as the Belhus players gain yet more experience from coaching and playing regular cricket. One of the highlights from a Belhus perspective came when Joshua Reynolds fielded the ball at cover and promptly ran out a Horndon batsman with a direct hit at the bowler's end wicket. Harry Davison showed his undoubted ability with the bat with some excellent cover drives, while the Belhus openers, Mason Ruck and Toby Reynolds, looked confident and settled.
