On a day when the youth playing availability was, perhaps, not at its strongest, Belhus still managed to field 21 players for two teams at U13 level. With this Belhus "B" team having ten players, this was reduced still further when one player failed to turn up. However, there were some positives to take from the game; several players made their junior cricket debuts fo Belhus, Jay Yagnik bowled impressively to take 1-18 from 3.5 overs; the captaincy from Callum St. Romaine was impressive. Despite having Wickford at 3-1 after the first over, the visitors strength gave them a deserved victory by nine wickets.
