Belhus maintained their position at the top of the Shepherd Neame Essex League 4th XI east division thanks to a fine all-round performance by Jabit Sarwar at Ockendon Recreation Ground. Sarwar hit an undefeated 59 then took 2-43 from ten overs.

With Paul Whitlock contributing 43 runs and Mike Squires claiming 4-43 from nine overs, the home side racked up another league win despite the valiant efforts of Brentwood's Anand Patel, who hit a fine 64 before becoming a Sarwar victim
