Match report A good end to the season with Jim Banner taking 7 for 90 and Ben Marns scoring 80 with Belhus ending on 240 all out. Benfleet had a very good go at getting the runs, but just fell short by 18 runs. The game was played in a good manner with both sides enjoying the game.

Jm Banner recorded his best-ever haul of seven wickets for 90 runs from fifteen overs at Woodside Park on Saturday, which proved to be a significant factor in this Shepherd Neame League victory. Benfleet acquitted themselves well in a valiant run-chase, largely through the efforts of Andy White, 58, and John Bull, 53. But the home response eventually capitulated. Earlier, Ben Marns was the leading run-maker for Belhus with a fine 80.
