Match report Jim Robertson led the way for Belhus at Ockendon Rec making his second century for the club, his first for the third eleven. Robertson made 109 as Belhus racked up 241 in very quick time. After winning the toss and electing to bat, it was Robertson's opening partner Jim Banner who showed the early aggression making a quick fire 33 as the pair added fifty for the first wicket in just ten overs. Banner departed and was soon followed by George Brooks who was run out for 7. But Owen Jefferies (44) joined Robertson for the key partnership of the innings as they added 127 for the fourth wicket. Jefferies fell for 44 and it was left to the calming influence of Richard Dopson to see Robertson through to his century. Robertson hit 16 fours and 1 six as he made his way to his highest score for the club of 109 before being dismissed. Forrest and Dopson took Belhus to 241-4 before skipper Paul Hall elected to declare.

Belhus completed a fine day by dismissing the visitors for just 123. Jefferies completed a good all-round performance picking up 2 for 36 while Paul Hall (2 for 10) Alan Maidment and Alfie Rowley (one wicket apiece) kept the pressure on and were very economical. The best return for Belhus came from Brian Edwards who wrapped up proceedings taking 3 for 9.

A second successive win for Belhus and an excellent all-round display from Paul Hall's side.
