Luke Clements and Ricki Ellis bowled Belhus into a winning position at North Stifford on Saturday. Pace ace Clements bagged 4-64 from ten fine overs while medium-pace seamer Ellis bowled his usual length and line to snare three wickets at a cost of just 15 runs from seven overs. This set up the chance of an emphatic victory and the home batsmen duly obliged; run machine Gavin Jefferies again impressed with 51, while Michel Fogg struck 26. Richard Day was trapped leg before for 12, but Joe Joyce, 49 not out, and Roy Heffernan, 13 not out, saw Belhus home in style.
