Second change Belhus bowler Terry Squires was in devastating form with the ball as he took three wickets at a cost of just seven runs from six overs at North Stifford on Saturday. Meanwhile, his father Michael was also among the wickets, picking up 2-25 from eight overs. The father and son combination resulted in the visitors being reduced to 87 for 5 after 27 overs and were eventually dismissed when Xavier Smith took 2 wickets from 3 deliveries.

After the break, Roy Heffernan saw Belhus home with a fine 42 not out, while offering good support were Nathan Turner with 30 and Ben Kent with 35.
