Match report The first Under 13B game was played with a mixture of Under 11S and 13s but in the U11 format. The visitors finally won a very close encounter by 8 runs (1 wicket)
The game saw structured cricket debuts for a number of juniors from both sides.
The result was in doubt with the score being level with 3 balls remaining - George Maidment looking for the winning runs was caught at mid wicket off the bowling of Jordan Sullivan, the 8-run deduction proved too much for the home side to recover.
Earlier, Alex Playle and Ewan Day were the pick of the home team bowlers each taking 2 wickets as did Daniel Petts and James Harvey for Stanford.
