NEW CLUB RECORD FASTEST CENTURY

14 Sep 2025

NEW CLUB RECORD FASTEST CENTURY:

Eltham 1st XI 202-4 (G Farrell 75*)
Belhus Sunday 1st XI
206-2 (Dylan Sinfield 104* Ben Gladman 70*):

Eltham batted first in this 35-over friendly at North Stifford and registered an under-par total of 202 for 4 with opener G. Farrell carrying his bat for 75. Tilly Barnett took 2 of the Eltham wickets to fall.

In our run-chase, we lost an early wicket but skipper Dylan Sinfield strode to the crease and crashed a quick-fire century off just 42 deliveries. Not to be outdone, Ben Gladman was also in quick-scoring mood as he struck an undefeated 70 from 38 balls to steer Belhus home to victory by 8 wickets, reaching their required target in 22 overs.

Dylan's magnificent ton became the Fastest Century in the Club's History (surpassing Dan Dreher's ton from 51 balls in 2017).

In addition, Dylan equalled the joint Club Record Number of 4s in an Over - 6 (held by Scott Bayford since 30th May 1999).

Certainly a day to remember.
