25 WICKETS FOR IMRAN MOHAMMED AS 3RD XI WIN AGAIN:

Hornchurch 4th XI 90 all out:

On a hot sunny day, Belhus were disappointed to lose the toss but highly delighted when Hornchurch invited them to bat first.

Reuben Hart continued his fine form by stroking 73 (his sixth half-century of the season) and James Maynard posted an undefeated 56 to take our 3rd XI up to a respectable 224 for 6 after the allotted 40 overs.

In their reply, Hornchurch were unable to handle some fine bowling by Tyler Martin, who captured 3 for 6 from just 2.4 overs, and also Imran Mohammed who collected 3 for 13 from 8 overs and passed 25 wickets for the season.  Skipper Martin Mailey enjoyed another competent day behind the stumps as he snared 3 catches, and Belhus romped home to a decisive 134-runs victory.

Having won their last six matches our 3rd XI sit in 2nd place in their Division.  And with 4 League matches of the season remaining they are  just 12 points behind the leaders Westcliff-on-Sea.
