WINNERS! BELHUS UNDER 15 BOMBERS LIFT SECPG T20 CUP.
In the T20 Cup Final played at Southchurch Park, Southend-on-Sea on 30th July, Belhus Under 15 Bombers batted first and posted a competitive 159 for 6 from their allotted 20 overs with James Maynard (36) and Dylan Sinfield (35) our lead run-scorers.
In their reply, Leigh-on-Sea reached 47 for 1 from 7.2 overs before rain caused the match to be abandoned.
In accordance with the Competition Rules, Belhus won by reason of a higher run rate - 6 - and lifted the Cup.
The match was played in a friendly spirit by both sides - it was just a pity that the match didn't play out the full distance.
Belhus Under 15 Bombers have enjoyed a fine season to date, with all team squad members contributing to their success.
