Welcome to Belhus Cricket Club
We celebrate our 50th Anniversary in 2010 and continue to provide members of the community, be they junior or senior and of all levels of ability, with the opportunity to play and enjoy the game of cricket.
As members of the Shepherd Neame Essex Cricket League and the Essex Sunday League, we field 5 Saturday XIs, 2 Sunday XIs, a Midweek XI and a VETS team for both league and friendly cricket.
Our thriving Youth Section was established in the 1960s and, through our qualified coaches, we arrange league, non-competitive matches and coaching programmes for Under 15s, Under 13s, Under 11s and Under 9s, and a Women's and Girls' Section is being developed - all in a safe, effective and friendly environment. We are one of only five clubs that is working with the Essex County Cricket Board to establish an Essex Disability Cricket League from 2010. In addition, we arrange an extensive programme of youth and senior indoor cricket throughout the winter months.
We have been awarded the prestigious Sport England 'ClubMark' Accreditation and are officially recognised as a 'Focus Club' of the England and Wales Cricket Board.
