Match report Belhus travelled over to Kent for this late season friendly. The weather was glorious with perfect blue skies and skipper Richard Day was pleased to bat first on what proved to be an excellent wicket. Gavin Jefferies started briskly with three boundaries before unluckily playing on for 12. Billy Winter (38) and Richard Dopson (27) kept the scoreboard moving nicely but the key innings came from Jim Robertson (75)who accelerated the run rate in exciting fashion with some fierce clean hitting including four sixes and nine fours. Young Ryan Wells (13) provided excellent support in a partnership of 77 for the 5th wicket. Kevin Harber (29) and Tom Thompson (19) kept the runs flowing as Belhus reached 237-7 at tea.

After the break, Belhus bowled well to strangle any hopes of a home victory. Young seamers Rikki Ellis (2-39) and Connor Day (2-22) rocked the Kent side and they retreated into their shell content to draw the game. Kevin Harber grabbed 2-9 but Belhus could not force a victory as Northfleet held firm to draw the game making 122-7.
