Match report The Belhus touring XI beat Formby in a thrilling game held at Cricket Path.

Belhus batted first and scored 199 all out in 39.5 overs of their allotted 40, with Richard Day (38) and the Stone's Paul (77) and Dave (25) stealing the show - Paul showing what he can do when he gets the chance to bat, hitting a majestic 77 off 110 balls, with 12 boundaries and Dave with a cameo role smashing 25 off 10 balls (1 four and 3 sixes).

In reply, Formby were 198 all out, R.Roca 69 the main run-scorer, but with all the other batsmen chipping in to bring the game to a thrilling conclusion, in which M.Cooper was run out off the last ball of the match going for the win.
