On the second match of our 1983 tour to Devon, opener Cliff Cansdale stroked a career-best 93 to take our total to a respectable 194 for 9 declared.

In the run-chase after tea, North Molton came up against John Forrest in his very best form as he captured 8 for 60 to see us home to a 27-runs win. A magnificent performance by the tourists!
