Belhus lost this excellent 35 over friendly on the last ball of the match.

Batting first, Eastside posted a competitive 173 in their 35 overs, Jawad leading the way with 60. Afra Mohammed and M Yaser were the pick of the bowers, with 1 for 25 and 1 for 28 off of their 7 overs.

In reply, a few Belhus batsmen got in, but never really went on to score big, which no doubt would have won us the game. J Plane 25, T Thompson 20, and M Cansdale 35, T Waters also got a nice 37 before he fell in the 31st over, leaving it to young Alfie Ware to try and steer us home and and he only fell one short with a fine 26, as he was run out trying to run two to tie the game, in what was a very exciting finish.
