A very good Sunday 35 over game as Belhus fell just short in trying to chase down 207.

Orpington batted first and got off to a graet start as De-Lucy got 40, but it was an excellent 92 from Robinson that set the tone for the innings and 20 ftom Groves helped as they closed on 207 for 7. C Cansdale was the pick of the Belhus bowlers with 3 for 48.

In reply, we got off to a good start with J Robertson falling for 22 at 73 for 1, batting wIth W Read who scored a very good 74 out of 104 for 2 when he was out. S Bayford picked up the mantle and he scored 67 with 9 fours, but when he was out with the total 185 for 9, the match slipped away from us, as 8 of the other 11 batsmen failed to reach double figures, this was much due to a superb spell of bowling form Ingram, who bowled 11 overs with 5 maidens and picked up 8 for 19 to ensure his side won a very good game of cricket.

Also, all of the 10 Belhus wickets to fall were all bowled.
