Belhus lost to Brookweald in this Sunday friendly.

Batting first, Brookweald were bowled out for 171, Brennan with 37, N Miller 45 and 46 not out from P Lee batting at No. 8.

M Winter and M Guilbert were the pick of the bowlers, with 2 for 20 for Winter and an excellent 4 for 15 from Guilbert.

In reply, it was a case of batsmen getting in, but not going on, R Heffernan 16, S Bayford 20, W Read 20, classic examples of this. It was only T Lincoln with a good 49 not out that nearly got us home but he ran out of partners and his son Matt (playing for the opposition) picked up 1 wicket and 2 catches, to round off a good day for the family.
