Very tight bowling from the Belhus attack restricted South Ockendon to 128 for 8 in their 45 overs, with Dave Cayless having impressive figures of 4 for 27 from 11 overs. For South Ockendon, it was only Jimmy Banner, in his pre-Belhus days, putting up any real resistance with 48 and showing us just how good he can be. But the South Ockendon score of 128 was never going to be enough as Belhus cruised to victory for the loss of only two wickets.

Andrew Cayless made it a fine all round day for the Cayless family hitting an unbeaten 77 supported by Matt Lewis with 35.
