In this Lillywhite Frowd league match the Trojans openers put on 54 for the first wicket, but they then lost 4 wickets for 2 runs and we shot them out for 105 thanks to a fine spell of 5 for 16 by John Rowell.

In our run-chase, we were sitting comfortably at 77 for 1 after a 62-run stand between Denis Reed (45) and Mark Winter (21), but when Reed was bowled by Coste for 45, a 'Belhus Collapse' saw us lose 6 wickets for 14 runs. We then recovered thanks to Dick Bignell and Geoff Morrant who saw us home to a 3 wickets win - it having taken us 43 overs to chase down the runs.
