In the standard 35-overs match that Barbados clubs play against touring sides from the UK, Banks Brewery posted a total of 218 (although they declared after 30.2 overs). Pleasingly, all of our bowlers took a wicket on yet another very hot day.

Having stayed out far too late the night before, our attempt to chase down the runs was pretty feeble. Five of our batsmen were dismissed for 'ducks' and only Wayne Read (12) managed to reach double figures. We lost by 176 runs and retired yet again to the comfort of 'Marshalls Bar' to debate strategy for our next match - against YMPC.
