Match report Our 1st XI trounced Little Thurrock in this league match at Blackshots Playing Fields, Grays - at the time, a notoriously poor and sometimes dangerous pitch. After Jim Donovan was dismissed first ball of the match, John Rowell (67) and Mark Winter (30) helped us to post 153 for 9 - a very good total at Blackshots.

After tea, our bowlers ripped through the Little Thurrock batting and dismissed them for just 85. Robert Clarke did most of the damage in taking 6 for 15 from 13 overs including clean-bowling 5 of his victims. Belhus at their impressive best.
