In this local derby at South Ockendon Recreation Ground, our 1st XI posted a competitive score of 163 for 9 as opener Denis Reed top-scored with 69.

In their run-chase after tea, South Ockendon were progressing well at 55 for 1 until they manufactured a massive collapse and lost 9 WICKETS for 11 RUNS to be all out for 66!

And it was our bowlers Cliff Cansdale and Jim Donovan who finished them off with 4 for 12 and 4 for 17 respectively. Belhus at their impressive best.
