Langdon Hills batted first and only opener Hodson reached double figures (and he made 66!) as we bowled out LH for 92. Bill Taylor bowled magnificently to take 7 for 35 in 10 overs.

In our reply after tea, Bill Line (32) and Jim Reed (20) took us up to 78 for 5 and we were well placed for a comfortable victory. But then came the 'Belhus Collapse' as we lost 5 wickets for 15 runs and lost by 4 runs. Oh Belhus, you threw this one away.
