Scorecard

Tennyson v Belhus Cricket Club Sunday 1st XI on Sun 14 Jul 1963 at 2.30pm
Belhus Cricket Club Lost by 2 Wickets

Match report Batting first, we were sitting comfortably on 42 for 1. Then we showed Tennyson our 'Belhus Collapse' as we lost 9 wickets for 20 runs to be all out for 62. Phew! And the Tennyson scorecard makes for interesting reading. Opener Hall carried his bat for a remarkable 42 not out and was the only batsman to reach double figures as they just edged home to win by 2 wickets. A tense match - shame we lost.
