This SNEL League Cup Final was played at Garon Park, Southend-on-Sea - Belhus reaching the Final for the second year consecutive year.

Batting first after winning the toss, Hornchurch racked up a respectable total of 261 for 9 from their 50 overs with opener Ronnie Saunders stroking a fine half-century. Joe Joyce and Dan Dreher were the pick of our bowlers with 3 wickets apiece.

In reply, we made our way to 100 for 3, but wickets fell regularly thereafter and we never quite got into the chase. Monty Panesar took 3 for 12 from 8 overs and we were bowled out for 172 to lose by 89 runs. Well played Hornchurch.
