Batting first after winning the toss, our 1st XI posted a very respectable total of 277 for 8 after their allotted 50 overs. Joe Joyce (129) was the mainstay of the innings stroking his second century of the season.

In their run-chase, GPR never really got into their stride and were dismissed for 145 with spinner Matt Doran our lead wicket-taker returning 4 for 34.

An excellent all-round performance by our 1st XI who remain in 4th place in SNEL Division One with five matches of the season still to be played.
