After winning the toss, Harold Wood batted first and posted a competitive total of 298 off of their allotted 50 overs thanks to a fine century (117) by Shahbaz Khan. Max Osborne and Connor Day captured two wickets apiece.

In our run-chase, we batted steadily down the order but wickets fell regularly just as our batsmen were getting into their stride. We then found ourselves in a little trouble at 165 for 6, but skipper Danny Joyce (82*) and Dan Dreher (73*) combined together to forge a magnificent 134-runs 7th wicket partnership to steer their side home to a comfortable 4 wickets win.

And the 1st XI remain in fourth place in SNEL Division One with just 6 matches of the league season remaining.
