Match report A depleted side were no match for Shenfield in this league match, although some fine bowling by Terry Squires (5-55 in 14overs) and Jim Banner (1-20 in 12 overs ) restricted Shenfield to 178 all out.

Terry Squires claimed five wickets for the first time in senior cricket at Ockendon Recreation Ground on Saturday. Squires finished with figures of 5-55 from 14 overs as Shenfield were dismissed after 44.3 overs. But Squires then saw his team collapse to 52 all out after 26 overs, woth no home batsman reaching double figures. Second change Shenfield bowler Carlos Wong wreaked havoc by picking up three wickets at a cost of just five runs from five overs (two maidens) while he was supported by Oliver Castell, 1-12, Riaz Rasool 2-14 and Tom Ballington, two wickets for two runs.
